I have extensive experience in working with SME’s and the small charity sector both hands on and at Board Level. I am versatile, an adept communicator and mentor offering an honest, pragmatic and rational approach to the challenges of 21st century business.
You will benefit from more than forty years of my working with SME’s business start-ups and their advisers. Over the years I have become finance orientated although my background was originally in marketing. I have learnt and developed many techniques and tools. Above all I have a deep understanding of how business works. Each and every business I work with is individual in its composition, its proposition, its needs and the expectations of its proprietors. I believe I take a sensible commercial view and suggest how you can develop your business to meet your objectives.
Understanding how you, your colleagues, partners and employees work is important to me. Over the years I have worked with accountants, lawyers, bankers, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and business angels at all levels. I have a wide appreciation of UK company law, accounting techniques, taxation, doing business overseas and best practice.
Challenges are rarely unique and better shared with a trusted colleague who understands you and your business. It’s important to me to understand you and your business and guide you along, and all the way. A problem shared is a problem solved!
From my office in Marlow (Buckinghamshire) I have supported Clients over most of the country including Scotland. I am a user of modern technology and use email, phone, Skype and other internet based tools to help Clients in a speedy, efficient and cost-effective way.
